Tenure-track position in Social Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev – Call for applications.
 
We anticipate an opening for an academic tenure-track appointment (open rank; per qualifications and experience) for a position starting in October 2015, in Social Psychology, Social-Neuroscience, and related fields. The appointment is subject to budgetary and professional approval. The search will continue until a suitable candidate is found.
 
Ben-Gurion University, with approximately 20,000 students, provides a significant resources and a strong foundation to support all faculty members’ research programs. The Psychology Department at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is committed to excellence in research and teaching. The department includes 20 faculty members specializing in cognitive, clinical, developmental and social psychology. Within social psychology, our group includes researchers studying emotions, attitudes, self-regulation, judgment and decision making, behavioral economics, and related topics.
 
Candidates are expected to have a PhD (and preferably also post-doctoral training) in relevant fields. We seek candidates with strong evidence of excellence in research, showing an excellent track-record for their stage of career, evident by previous high-quality contribution to psychology. Candidates specializing in social neuroscience and/or group research are especially encouraged to apply.
