The Faculty of Health Sciences offers advanced studies towards Ph.D. and M.Med.Sc. degrees in virology, microbiology and immunology, molecular oncology, molecular genetics, clinical and molecular parasitology, genetic engineering, pharmacology, physiology (electro-neurophysiology, brain research), human morphology (developmental neurobiology), epidemiology, applied biostatistics, and clinical biochemistry. We also grant M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in the sociology of health and in gerontology, M.N. and Ph.D.s in nursing and Ph.D. and M.P.H degrees in public health.
