Welcome to the website of the School of Public Health
Ben Gurion University's School of Public Health was established in 2019 and is made up of three departments, which offer a variety of degree programs: The Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Community Health Sciences, the Department of Health Policy and Management and the Department of Crisis and Disaster Management. The school also offers programs in Gerontology, Sociology of Health, Health Leadership and more.
The School of Public Health will educate the future generation of researchers, clinicians, policy designers and policy makers in the fields of public health and healthcare management, while placing an emphasis on the unique challenges at community, regional, national and international levels, during periods of normalcy and crisis. The School operates out of a commitment to multidisciplinary learning, collaboration, international vision, cutting edge research and innovative teaching, with a social and humanitarian focus.
The School's unique interdisciplinary approach integrates different and varied approaches, drawing on the expertise of professionals from diverse disciplines as well as the unique connection to the Negev and its needs in term of healthcare and community.
