מה ניתן ללמד מההשוואה
בין ישראל, רוסיה וארצות הברית בתחום עלייתו של שיח פטריוטי המבוסס על רגשות
נוסטלגיים, פחד, גועל, אבדן גאווה וכח?
איך ניתן להסביר את
פריחתו של שיח לאומני זה לצד שגשוגו ההולך וגובר של משטר ניאוליברלי כלכלי ותרבותי
המכונן את האזרח כמנהל של עצמו והאחראי בלעדית לרווחתו האישית?
בנושאים אלה נדון בסדנת
מחקר בנושא "ריגושיזציה של זירות ציבוריות במבט בין
תרבותי" שתתקיים בבאר שבע (28-29.5) ובירושלים (30-31.5).
בסדנא זו נבחן את הדרכים שבהן שפה רגשית פסיכולוגית מעצבת מחלוקות
פוליטיות, קטגוריות קולקטיביות ויחסים מוסדיים.
באמצעות מבט בין-תרבותי, נדון בתופעת הריגושיזציה של זירות
ציבוריות בדגש על עיצוב מחדש של יחסים בין כח פוליטי וסובייקטים, בין עובד ומעביד,
בין סטודנט למרצה ובין נותן שירות ללקוח.
את הסדנא מארח צוות
המחקר בראשה של ד"ר יוליה לרנר בסיוע המחלקה לסוציולוגיה ואנתרופולוגיה.
הסדנא זכתה למימון
של הקרן הלאומית למדע ותמיכה של אב"ג, מכון ון ליר בירושלים, והשותפות
הבין אוניברסיטאית לחקר רוסיה ומזרח אירופה.

How do safe zones, wellbeing, trauma, and
resilience, as well as love, shame and pride go beyond the domain of the
individual self and shape public, political, and collective talk? What can
we learn from a comparison of the American, Israeli and Russian rise of patriotic
discourse, which is based on nostalgic feelings, fear, or disgust, and speaks
directly to lost pride, and power?
How can we explain
such discourse alongside the ever-growing neoliberal economic and cultural
regime that constitutes a self-regulating, self-fullling citizen who is
responsible for his own wellbeing? This workshop investigates the ways in which psychological
emotional language shapes contemporary public debates, collective categories,
and institutional relations.
Using a cross-cultural
perspective, we explore the public emotionalization phenomenon, focusing on the
reshaped relations between political power and its subjects, between employer
and employee, between student and professor, and between service provider and
client
