The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship
primarily funds stipends to newly minted Ph.Ds. to pursue a post-doc in
European Member States and Horizon Associated countries (which includes
Israel). The program awards grants in virtually all academic areas. BGU
researchers can use the Marie Curie Fellowship in one of the following ways:
* To recruit a European post-doc candidate.
* To assist their own Ph.Ds. continue their
academic development.
Although the program funds primarily post-docs, it
does not prohibit more senior researchers from submitting applications designed
to allow them to add an important dimension to their research capacities.
An essential element of an application is an eligible institution (usually a
university or research center) outside of your own country, who will be your
partner in submitting the application (technically, they actually submit the
application in order to recruit you). RDA will provide guidance and
support to any researcher submitting an application to recruit a post-doc.
