The BGU International Welcome Center is a hub for international researchers, students, employees, and accompanying families.
We are your home away from home and are here to guide and assist with all administrative (non-academic) issues throughout your BGU experience.

Welcome Center Services:
- Guidance for students, researchers, and employees coming from outside Israel through every stage of their journey at BGU.
- Information and guidance on the process of obtaining visas and visa extensions for the BGU International community, including work permits and work visas for international employees, as well as accompanying family members.
- Information and guidance regarding health insurance requirements.
- Communication with government institutions and providing up-to-date information on regulations, policies, and guidelines related to visas and medical insurance.
- Organizing orientation events for international students and researchers, as well as a full calendar of social activities for the BGU International community.
- Providing orientation information on life in Beer-Sheva, helping students and researchers get acclimated in the city.
- Handling inquiries from students, staff, and visitors to BGU.
