The M.Sc. program at the Department of Earth and
Environmental Sciences is a research degree with thesis, designed to impart research skills and professional competence in a variety of fields in geology, earth and environmental science.
The study program is subject to rules and regulations set by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, including awarding of credit points and eligibility for scholarships and teaching assistantships.
The M.Sc. program offers a thesis (research) track and requires two years of full-time study. Outstanding students may join the combined M.Sc.-Ph.D. track during the 2nd year of their M.Sc. studies.

M.Sc. Requirements:
» A B.Sc. in Geological and Environmental Science or in closely related fields, with a grade point average of at least 80 from an accredited institution.
» A TOEFL score of at least 85/120 or equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required.

» A copy of the applicant's academic transcripts
» A Copy of the applicant's TOEFL/IETLS score
» Two letters of recommendation from faculty members who are familiar with the applicant's academic work and skills. These should be sent by the recommender directly to
