Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

The following refund policy applies in the event that a student withdraws, cancels, or is dismissed from any of the programs offered through BGU International:

BGU International - Tuition:

The $250 confirmation fee is non-refundable. If you choose to withdraw or are dismissed from the program, the confirmation deposit is withheld and the balance of the tuition is refunded according to the guidelines below.

All withdrawals must be submitted through e-mail to the relevant program coordinator.

Summer Programs Tuition:

Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the program               100%

Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to the start of the program                 80%

Withdrawal after the start of the program                                                       0%

Semester / Year Program Tuition*:

Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to the start of the semester              100%

Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to the start of the semester               80%

Withdrawal after the first week of the semester                                             0%

Tuition assistance, grants, and scholarships received towards a program are contingent on successful completion of the course of studies. Early withdrawal cancels the right to receive funding and makes the student liable for the full tuition.

*A yearlong participant, who has completed one semester and wishes to cancel participation in the second semester, will be refunded only for the second semester and according to the cancellation policy.

BGU International – International Dorms:

The $250 confirmation fee is non-refundable. If you choose to withdraw, cancel or are dismissed from the program or the dorms, the confirmation deposit is withheld and the balance of the dorm rent is refunded according to the guidelines below:

Withdrawal more than two weeks prior to check-in date – full amount will be refunded (less the non-refundable confirmation fee).

Withdrawal less than two weeks prior to check-in date – full amount will be refunded less one month of rent.

Withdrawal after the start of the program – students will be charged a fine of half a month's rent providing advance notice of at least two weeks, prior to check out, was given. For the avoidance of doubt, no refund will be granted if no advance notice is provided.​
