The Department of Mathematics offers an active research environment with a distinctly international character. Every year, students in the program attend a highly distinguished lecture series and participate in international conventions featuring well-known mathematicians.
Studies in the Department are offered in four tracks:
1. Pure Mathematics
2. Industrial and Applied Mathematics
3. Mathematics and Computer Science
4. Mathematics Education
The M.Sc. program offers a Thesis (research) track and requires two years of full-time study. Outstanding students may join the combined M.Sc.-Ph.D. track during the 2nd year of their M.Sc. studies.

M.Sc. Requirements:
» B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at a minimum GPA of 80/100 from accredited institution.
» A TOEFL score of 85/120 or the equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required.
» The candidate must identify a potential advisor (research supervisor) among the faculty's staff.

» In some cases, a Skype interview will be conducted as part of the admission process in order to better assess the student's abilities.
