The 3rd and 4th year students of the Application Design for Mobile Devices class (364-1-1201) presented on Tuesday their final projects. In this project-based class, they designed and developed a prototype of a mobile app to support students on campus. After an initial needfinding assignment, they suggested several important avenues to support student life. In this session, they presented their final projects that varied in breadth and topics. From helping students find a seat in overcrowded classrooms, to helping them manage their time and health goals, they also proposed apps to find an apartment or a ride to go home. Next to their posters, the students presented their posters and demos to faculty members and fellow students. The presentations sparked many conversations and suggestions for future development. We wish the students good luck with the rest of their studies!
