On November 11, 19, the first conference was initiated by graduates of the Mandel Social Leadership MBA Program, at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Social Leadership Institute​, Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Representatives of the alumni of the program who organized the conference are Adi Dagan, Ido Diamant, Or Nahushtan, Michal Zamir and Sivan Tiar.​

In the opening lecture, guest speaker Adv. Kobi Amsalem (ab0ve), Chairman of the Amidar Board of Directors, a member of the Board of Directors of the Or Yarok Association, Negotiations, Wage and Labor Consultant presented the importance of nonprofit management from the perspective of fine-tuned leadership. 

Some of the Program's graduates, now senior executives in Israel, presented at the conference lectures and chaired discussion groups (round tables) on various topics in the field of social leadership:
Ms. Michal Zamir, Mr. Idan Shabtai, and Mr. Lior Sher on the topic: Beit Midrash for Innovation Tradition Renewal or Renewal of Tradition? Teaching a midrash on entrepreneurship and innovation in sources.

Ms. Adi Dagan, Mr. Eliad Melamed, Mr. Hai Piatsky on the subject of philanthropy in a new world, reviewing the fascinating changes going on in the world of philanthropy in Israel and around the world, sharing experiences and knowledge, getting acquainted with innovative trends.

Mr. Jamal Alkirnawi Ms. Paula Barkan on identity and entrepreneurship:

Ms. Dana Schleifer, Mr. Saggi Greenhouse Ms. Hadara Steinberg: Social Planning from Strategy to Practice - Principles of Design Thinking as a Problem-Solving and Real-Change Tool - Application in the Field, Examples and Experiences

Or Nahushtan concludes: "The next step will be to build an in-depth conference next year to suit our prestigious program."
