In the Arava, nearly 200 Nepalese, receiving special training for modernizing their country through agriculture, food security, community organization and more are struggling to cope with the aftermath of the massive earthquake that struck Nepal on Saturday, grieving over the unknown fate of family members and loved ones.

Prof. Richard Isralowitz of the Spitzer Department of Social Work and Director of the RADAR Center, Prof. Orly Sarid and Dr. Dorit Segal-Engelchin, Director of the Center for Women’s Health Promotion, who just returned from giving a presentation abroad about coping with stress and trauma, will meet with the group on Wednesday to offer advice and counseling at the request of the Arava International Center for Agricultural Training (AICAT).
