Bioinformatics Core Facility
About Us
The Bioinformatics Core Facility, in operation since 2003, provides data analysis services, consultation and training to scientists at Ben-Gurion University and all over Israel from both academia and industry.
Our aim is to help scientists advance their research using cutting edge bioinformatics methodologies. We mainly support the design and analysis of experiments which use genomic technologies such as Next Generation Sequencing, Mass spectrometry proteomics & metabolomics and others.
Throughout the years we have analyzed numerous high-throughput datasets, in both model and non-model organisms. Recently, we also specialized in microbial genome analyses for clinical, public health and industrial purposes. Read more...
