​Teaching is a central and important aspect of the University's academic activities. The University would like to recognize our academic faculty members for their outstanding excellence in teaching, this year also honoring academic faculty members who made innovative and creative changes in their teaching methods. 
The outstanding lecturers for the 2020/2021 academic year are:

Roth Prize for Excellence in Teaching
This prize, established by Mr. Lenny Roth in honor of his father Prof. Charles Roth, enables students to honor a lecturer who impacted their studies and academic lives. This year, the prize was granted to a lecturer who received an exceptionally high evaluation score in the teaching quality survey and was thus chosen as an unusually inspiring lecturer. This year's recipient is:

Glatt Prize for Excellence in Teaching
This prize was established by Herman Glatt, Attn., in memory of his parents Luba and David Glatt, lovers of Israel who were actively involved in the Zionist movement in the United States. The prize is granted to outstanding lecturers who received the highest teaching score in each faculty. The lecturers were chosen based on their scores in the teaching quality survey completed by students at the end of the academic year. Outstanding lecturers are as follows:

This year it was decided to award certificates of appreciation to lecturers of the course Environmental Protection and Sustainability, for the unique, different, innovative and interesting learning experience which combines many and varied topics of knowledge on the subjects of environment, nature and sustainability. The course was offered as an interactive course on the prestigious edX platform. This exposed thousands of students from over the world to topics of important human interest.
