This week, BGU International hosted the annual Erasmus+ Staff Week. Eighteen representatives from European partner universities participated in various events aimed at sharing knowledge and best practices concerning student and staff mobility. Two fairs were held: one for students, focusing on Student Exchange options for BGU students, and the other, for BGU staff, showcased staff mobility and facilitated speaking with representatives of the Universities abroad. Over 100 BGU administrative staff came to hear about this option. The staff week also gave the European guests the opportunity to learn more about BGU so that they can promote studying at BGU at their home universities.

Dr. Stavi Baram, Director of BGU International, noted, “It is exciting to welcome back European representatives after the past years of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which travel and in-person meetings were limited. I want to thank the BGU International team, and particularly Ada Morpurgo, for their hard work in making this week so successful."

Vice President for Global Engagement, Prof. Limor Aharonson-Daniel said, “The staff week is a great celebration and manifestation of engagement with partner universities from Europe. I hope that it will not only raise the numbers of incoming and outgoing students, staff, and faculty, but that in the long run it will result in an organizational shift towards the goal of being a leading international university."
