​Columbia University President Prof. Lee Bollinger visited BGU earlier this week for a first-hand look and to discuss research collaboration between the two Universities. He was accompanied by his wife Jean Magnano Bollinger, Executive Vice President for Global Centers and Global Development at Columbia University Prof. Safwan M. Masri and former US Ambassador to Israel and advisor to Columbia University, Dan Shapiro.

During his visit, he met with Colombia University students Erin Pratt and Zoe Goldberg (pictured below), who are currently studying on an exchange program at BGU.

After meeting with the exchange students, BGU President Prof. Daniel Chamovitz accompanied Prof. Bollinger to BGU's Advanced Technologies Park, where he met with researchers at the BGU Cybersecurity Research Laboratory.​
