The University assists students by making reading materials available to them in the framework of studies and research. The reading material may sometimes be protected by copyright, but according to the provisions of the Copyright Law, 2007, fair use, for the purpose of self-study, is permitted for research, criticism, review, journalistic reporting, quotations, or teaching and examination by an educational institution. Therefore, the institutions of higher education have formulated operative criteria for the implementation of the law, and the university adopts the principles set forth in the inter-university forum regarding the treatment of reading materials required for teaching purposes.
