Today, most of the lecturers use course sites to communicate with students, upload articles, video presentations, task management, online and intermediate exams, and provide links to websites.
§ Consulting in scientific programs.
§ Self-recording project - managed by the section since 2009. Each semester, the lecturers record about 120 courses.
§ In cooperation with the Dean of Students, the photographer videotapes selected lectures using high-resolution cameras.
§ Filming and editing video clips of lecturers.
§ Development of online courses - Since 2003, the section has developed dozens of online courses in various fields for students and employees.
§ Involvement in the development of MOOC courses.
§ Installation and implementation of Stack and Maxima software needed for developing a computerized math practice system.
§ The development and management of a video server, including advanced search options and detailed reports.
§ Development and management of the GoCoder application, which use the Wowza video server, for transmission of smart phone broadcasts of academic activities such as field experiments, laboratories, etc.
§ Design and transfer of workshops focusing on learning management systems and e-learning technologies.
§ Participation in institutional processes to promote e-learning in the various faculties.
§ Assimilation of technologies such as Kahoot, Polleverywhere, Socrative, etc.
§ Implementation of new models of technology-supported teaching (eg, reverse class model at the Faculty of Health Sciences).
