My life before BGU:
I was born in a neighborhood in Herzliya that once housed immigrants and graduated from high school in Herzliya. I completed all three of my degrees at Tel Aviv University, and did my postdoc at UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare, focusing on social policy and social work.

My research:
My research deals with the quality of social services, the assessment of national welfare programs, and predicting resilience of families and individuals using big data. Material support, such as food and nourishment, is just as important as providing psychological help to a person in distress. In fact, a combination of both is best.

An insight from my research:
The data controlled by the state holds the keys to improving many social services and enhancing quality of life for those who need them. AI methodology can help us find them!
