An Introduction to Speaker Recognition

Speaker recognition technology has becoming more and more popular. In this talk, a general introduction to speaker recognition will be presented. We will define, categorize, brief on current applications and present one of most popular methodologies for speaker recognition. Finally, we will discuss the challenges and the key issues in terms of research. The talk will be accompanied by demos and sound samples.
Yosef Solewicz holds a Ph.D. on Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University and is currently working as an R&D officer at Israel National Police.
