The Data Science Research Center at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (DSRC@BGU), founded in April 2018, brings together one of the largest multidisciplinary groups of data scientists in Israel. The DSRC members work on theoretical and practical problems in data mining, machine learning, and big data along with applying data science methods and tools to such diverse fields as natural language processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, robotics, computational biology, bioinformatics, medical diagnostics, precision agriculture, social network analysis, control, optimization, and many others.
