CABGU has been providing funding to include GGFBM BGU MBA students in the John Molson Competitions, as well as enthusiastic cheerleading, tours of Montreal, get-togethers and heartfelt moral support, and has showcased Israel at this prestigious event.
Miriam Roland, a member of the Board of Directors of Concordia University, member of the CABGU board, despite her being 90 years young, attended a few sessions and was also 'so very impressed' with this outstanding group of Israeli students. “They make us, BGU and Israel proud"!
“The team's performance was always excellent with the usually expected ups and downs of a competition, but they always put their hearts and brains into each of their five competitions. Their case solutions were well thought out, presented in a most professional and organized fashion and they always captured the attention of the judges in a most positive fashion. We in the audience, at times had to restrain ourselves from cheering!" Mark Mendelson, CABGU Executive Director.
Igor Ronen: It's been a long process of preparations to get to the JMICC. We're privileged for this amazing opportunity to participate in this prestigious international competition and in the business events here in Montreal. This is the ultimate international competition and we are honored to represent Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Israel. We understand that excellence is more important than being excellent and we are ding our best! Thanks to Prof. Pierre Kletz, Chair of the Mandel Social Leadership Program, for his trust in us, support and unwavering investment in us! We are so proud of our standing here, and in all that we represent!
Noam Kleifeld: The JMICC competition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, in a couple of months of preparation we went through an amazing process and this week is empowering at a level I could not imagine. Thank you very much to the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business & Management at Ben-Gurion University for our champion coach [Meital Magid and Dr. Granit Almog-Bareket]!
Maayan Hadass: We were given a rare and unique opportunity to participate in this singular JMICC business analysis event in Montreal, Canada. My friends and I are full of appreciation and excitement! The competition provides personal and group challenges and this is also an opportunity to expose the business world to a slightly different angle and get to know people from all over the world!
Dr. Granit Almog-Bareket, the accompanying lecturer with the team in Montreal: "We are so grateful to CABGU not just for their generosity but for their warm welcome and constant encouragement, showing up for the meets is really meaningful cheerleading for our students competing in nail-biting competition."
