The Strage Foundation and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev are pleased to invite you to the Ceremony for the Strage-BGU Awards for Excellence 2017-18
This year's Strage-BGU Award for Excellence in Environmental Sciences, led by BGU's Green Campus initiative, will be bestowed on Prof. Ora Paltiel of the Hebrew University - Hadassah Braun School of Public and Community Medicine and to Prof. Benny Chefetz of the Department of Soil and Water Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The award recognizes their article "Human Exposure to Wastewater-Derived Pharmaceuticals in Fresh Produce: A Randomized Controlled Trial Focusing on Carbamazepine " published in the journal Environmental Science and Technology.
The Award for Excellence in Cyber Security, led by the BGU Cybersecurity Research Center, will be given to Dr. Asaf Shabtai of the Department of Software and Information Systems Engineering and to Dr. Itai Dinur of the Department of Computer Science, both at BGU, in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments in cybersecurity research in the past year.
