My life before BGU:
I was born and grew up in Tel Aviv. I studied for a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Open University while at high school. My master's and PhD degrees are also in mathematics, from Tel Aviv University. From there, I continued on to a postdoc in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University in the US.

My research:
In the modern world where technology controls all facets of life, it is necessary to verify without a shadow of a doubt that a certain software program behaves as it should. In my research I deal with the development of formal methods that will support software verification and expand the capabilities of the computerized tools used for this purpose.
Why BGU?
Beer-Sheva's position as a leader in the cyber field, together with the strategic position of the University close to the Advanced Technologies Park, is a promising indicator of fast growth and the ability to attract outstanding students. As for me, it's an excellent opportunity to create a diverse group that can promote research in my fields of specialization.
An insight from my research:
I discovered that good science is carried out through interaction with other researchers. Sometimes a simple conversation in the corridor while waiting for coffee can turn into a groundbreaking project. The moment I realized this, my research became much more diverse and productive.
Something that doesn't appear on my resume:
I'm a vegan and love to eat. There's no contradiction between the two.
When I grow up:
As a child, I thought I would teach. It's also true today, only I teach older children.
If I was not a researcher, I would:
Own a vegan bakery.
