My life before BGU:
I was born in France and graduated from high school in the south-west of France. I completed my undergraduate degree in Intelligent Systems in Toulouse, France and then moved to Britain for a master's degree in Advanced Computer Science at Sheffield University and a PhD in Computer Science at Bristol University. After working at Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing, China, I left for the United States where I did a postdoc, first at Cornell Tech, New York City and then at Stanford University in California.
"Recently, I have been working on how culture influences how we perceive technologies and on building interaction techniques adapted to different cultures. I am amazed at how strong the differences are between people around the world."

My research:
My research focuses on how people will interact with technologies in the future. My main research areas are human-computer and human-robot interaction. I am particularly interested in how autonomous devices, such as cars, robots, and drones, will affect our lives and how we can make sure that they are built in ways that are acceptable to all.
Why BGU?
I am really excited about flying drones in the desert!
An insight from my research:
Recently, I have been working on how culture influences how we perceive technologies and on building interaction techniques adapted to different cultures. I am amazed at how strong the differences are between people around the world.
Something that doesn't appear on my resume:
I love traveling and have been to many places all over the globe.
A source of inspiration:
There are so many inspirational people! One of my favorites being Mae Jemison, who was born on the same day as me (but in a different year)
