Department of Structural Engineering
Faculty of Engineering Sciences
My life before BGU:
I was born in Kiryat Bialik and grew up in Carmiel. I have lived in Beer-Sheva since 2007. I studied for my bachelor's degree in the Department of Structural Engineering at BGU, and continued on a direct PhD track in the same Department.
My research:
I work on the analysis and upgrading of buildings for earthquakes by optimizing the mass, stiffness and adding damping devices.
Why BGU?
I love the desert, I love Beer-Sheva, I love BGU.

An insight from my research:
There isn't a conclusion that begins with "It's always possible to rule that…. "
unless you add "…, only in the case of…"
Something that doesn't appear on my resume:
I am addicted to the gym (aerobic and anaerobic) and also to movies.
I'm crazy about my family.
A source of inspiration:
My grandfather, the late Avraham Yehezkel.
When I grow up:
As a child I would have answered 'a structural engineer;' today I say a researcher in the field of structural engineering.
If I was not a researcher, I would be involved with:
teaching.
