The Glatt Award for Teaching Excellence is granted in the name of Advocate Herman Glatt, in memory of his parents, Luba and David Glatt, who were active members of the Zionist movement in the US, and enthusiast supporters of Israel.

Considering the teaching challenges that the Corona virus imposed this year, the award was granted for extraordinary excellence in both frontal and online teaching, based on results of the 2020 teaching quality survey conducted among the students.

The department of Computer Science is proud to announce that Dr. Michal Shemesh, an adjunct lecturer, and Mr. Amir Rubin, a Ph.D student in our department, are among the winners for 2020. Well done!
