Rotem Room, Zlotowski Student Administration Building (#70)

The third HackBGU, with the theme “Smart Campus: Academia, Society, Environment,” will be held at Ben-Gurion University on the 28th and 29th of March, 2019.

Two hundred people are expected to take part in this immersive event. Participants will split up into teams and work for an intensive 28-hour period to create new technologies for the future, and then present these innovative and unique technologies at the end of the hackathon.

Technological, social and business projects generated in the hackathon should advance the campus in the fields of academic education, social involvement, and environmental sustainability. The proposals submitted may engage with existing projects, as long as the proposed plan is a significant improvement that leverages the services already offered.

Participation in HackBGU offers hands-on business experience as well as valuable support from highly qualified professionals. This hackathon will be a unique opportunity for all students to work together in developing new technologies within a setting, which promotes a project’s potential to grow and succeed commercially in the future.

Registration is until 21.03.2019
