Two international courses concluded this week at the University. Each course was attended by 25 outstanding students from India, China and the US.

The first course entitled “Global Health” focused on issues such as health in the age of globalization, Israeli innovation and entrepreneurship in public health, immigration, refugees, obesity, diabetes and more. The course integrated classroom learning, professional field trips and a practicum. The course is in its third year and is run by Prof. Nadav Davidovich under the auspices of the Office of International Academic Affairs.

The second course, which was launched this year, focused on Data Mining and Business Intelligence. The course offered theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience in this emerging field and included visits to the University’s technology labs and the Gav Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park. The course was run by Dr. Nir Nissim under the auspices of the Office of International Academic Affairs
