The Mandel Social Leadership MBA Program at BGU's Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management is the First Israeli Academic MBA program to receive EPAS Accreditation of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). EPAS is an international programme accreditation system operated by EFMD. It aims to evaluate the quality of any business and/or management programme that has an international perspective and, where of an appropriately high quality, to accredit it.

This accomplishment is particularly impressive, as this customized MBA program focuses on social leadership, social issues and nonprofit management combined with core MBA studies. The Mandel Social Leadership MBA embodies the GGFBM mission to promote and enable social change through better management. The EPAS accreditation signifies recognition that the Mandel Social Leadership MBA Program meets the highest international standards of MBA academic programs in the world, and provides top-quality education, and moreover, most distinctively in Social Leadership studies. Subsequently, prospective students, faculty and researchers will find the SLMBA and the
Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management a promising platform for successful studies and careers.

“As the SLMBA is currently recruiting its fifth class of students, we have good reason to be proud of obtaining such international recognition, particularly in such a short period of time,” remarked Prof. Oded Lowengart, Dean of the Faculty. “Such recognition of a high quality, globally-focused MBA program brings acclaim to the GGFBM as well, and to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.”
