Congratulations to Dr. Or Amir

​​Or Amir was accepted for a 3 year postdoctoral position at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with the ERC funded project "VISIONIS: Visuality in the Qur'an and Early Islam". He will research early Islamic visualizations of the sacred, focusing on saintly figures, their representations in Islamic literature and their role in shaping the image of the Sufi saints around the 10th century.​ https://visionis.huji.ac.il/​
