The Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research work with the Harel Health Insurance Company. The cost is 10.5 ILS per day, and the policy does not cover pre-existing conditions or pregnancy. If you arrive with your own health insurance, please inquire with your health insurance company about the health services that are available with your policy while residing abroad. The health care clinic in Sede Boqer is affiliated with the Clalit Health Care Services. This clinic does not provide services to holders of medical insurance from abroad.
The nearest city that has other health care services is Beer-Sheva, and is a 45-minute drive from the Sede Boqer campus.
