Acceptance and registration as a graduate student is via the Faculty of Natural Sciences for the MSc and the Kreitman School for the PhD. Acceptance of foreign students may be facilitated by the Office of International Academic Affairs.  Formal registration is completed via the office of the Registrar.
However,  to explore in advance the possibility of acceptance at our department, prospective candidates should contact the graduate studies chairman (at present, Prof. Itai Haviv at haviv@bgu.ac.il).
We will request details of your university and a transcript of your program of studies and grades for the BSc degree. If your university appears on the list of approved institutions, and the course and grade standard is equivalent to our own graduate admissions criteria, you may proceed to the next step.
The MSc degree at BGU  is a thesis-based research degree, so acceptance is conditional on joining the research team of one of our staff members. The Faculty of Natural Sciences admissions procedure can begin when your BSc record is approved and a research supervisor has accepted you to his/her team.
