Tel-Zur research focuses on Plant Cytogenetic, Breeding and Selection and Reproductive Biology aiming at combining basic research with the motivation of translating the obtained knowledge for development of dryland agriculture. Tel-Zur lab works on several important under-exploited, drought-tolerant crop plants including dragon fruit, Jojoba and Ziziphus species.
