As part of its expanding Exchange Program, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev has signed strategic agreements with universities around the world. Students participating in an exchange program study abroad, pay their regular tuition fees and earn credits towards their degrees back home
 
Who is an Exchange Student?
Your university has an exchange agreement with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev that entitles you to apply to study for a semester or a year at BGU without paying tuition fees.
 
What can I study at BGU?
Exchange Students may choose courses from:
 
*While most International programs at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev are at the Masters level, students who are in their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies may also be accepted into courses from these programs.
 
** Please Note: The Summer courses @BGU are not included under the tuition-free options available to exchange students. 
 
How do I apply?
Please contact your International Office in order to be nominated as an exchange student. Once you are nominated, see our "how to apply" page for more information. 
 
Who will handle my application at BGU?
Your application, admission, registration and all logistics associated with your arrival to Israel will be handled through the Overseas Student Programs Office at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

What will be the tuitions or fees I will have to pay?

On-Campus Housing Fees, Semester:  $2300
On-Campus Housing Fees, Full Academic Year:  $4250
Pre-Semester Intensive Hebrew Language Ulpan Course:  $1500
On-Campus Housing during the Ulpan:  $600
 
University Sports Center, Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pools:
 Single semester  $125
 Full Academic Year  $250

 Exchange students will also have the option of participating in weekly activities and trips around Israel, as organized by the Overseas Student Programs Office, and should expect to pay a minimal fee per chosen activity/trip.
