In an initial meeting, which is free of charge, we will discuss your experiment and requirements, and how we can assist. Before starting actual work (and if necessary, after review of available software and data) we will send you a price quote, at least for the first stages of the work. We will need written approval of the project PI before the work can commence.
For each project, the Core Facility staff will carefully select and test relevant software and parameters, perform the analysis and finally deliver context-specific data and knowledge that you can use. Facility staff members will work with you hand-in-hand in interpreting the results, and in exploring options for further research. Platforms for automated data analysis pipelines developed by us are also available for students wishing to conduct bioinformatics analyses by themselves.
Finally, we help in preparing data for publications, in writing relevant sections in the article, and in addressing reviewers’ comments.
