hand-holding-tree-blur-green-nature.jpgSustainability is defined as finding ways to meet the needs of humans in the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs, while preserving and without irreversibly damaging the planet and its natural systems.

The division enables students to become familiar with the quantitative basis on which to examine the human pressure exerted on nature. During the studies, we will expose the complex biological and physical interactions in the environment and the influence of humans on the future of life on Earth, define and analyze the biological and physical forces that form the basis of natural processes that require conservation, the theoretical considerations and the range of solutions that guide those engaged in the work.
