Real multidisciplinary research, breaking boundaries, bureaucratic and intellectual, in the fields of environment, sustainability and climate change

Struggling with the threats posed by global climate change requires a broad-scale observation and the integration of different fields of research and study. Collaboration among researchers from various disciplines and the ability to be open-minded is required to innovate and transform local approaches into global solutions. The multidisciplinary Goldman Sonnenfeldt School of Sustainability and Climate Change utilizes the knowledge and expertise of more than 150 research laboratories and numerous research centers and faculties and facilitates the transfer of knowledge among them.

The new school is based on our established strengths to further facilitate the multidisciplinary integration of researchers and research programs across the university's 3 campuses, and actively encourages inter-departmental cooperation to produce impactful solutions to our generation's most pressing needs.

The multidisciplinary framework and ethos of cooperation that will be fostered at school will further facilitate the employment of researchers with many and varied interests and the development of unique study programs, that will attract the best and brightest students to tackle these critical issues.
