Jacobo Meckler Waisburd is Partner and Commercial and New Business Director of Comexhidro, a Mexican energy firm, where he is responsible for detecting and deploying new opportunities in the wind, solar and conventional power generation. He is also President of the Mexican Hydropower Association (Amexhidro).
As a member of the Mexican Energy Transition Advisory Council, Green Finance Advisory Board, and the Editorial Board of the Reforma Newspaper, Jacobo contributes to the shaping of Mexico's renewable energy policies and is involved in multiple projects, large and small.
In 2019, he became President of the Mexican Associates of BGU.
Jacobo is married to Paola Tabachnik Bessudo and is father to Bernardo and Camila.
