Exchange Program - International Students

Who is an Exchange Student?
Your university has an exchange agreement with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev that entitles you to apply to study for a semester or a year at BGU without paying fees.

What can I study at BGU?
Exchange Students may choose courses from most regular BGU academic programs and International Programs. While most International programs at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev are at the Masters level, students who are in their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies may also be accepted into courses from these programs.

Summer Courses
The Summer University Program offers short-term study programs, usually lasting between four to six weeks and running through the late summer months. These programs are open to everyone.

Please Note: The Summer courses @BGU are not included under the tuition-free options available to exchange students.

How do I apply?
You need to be nominated by your home university and submit an application through it's International Office or equivalent.

Who will handle my application at BGU?
Your application, admission, registration and all logistics associated with your arrival to Israel will be handled through the Overseas Student Programs Office at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

What if I have questions?
Most questions regarding your application should be sent to your home university's International Office. For specific questions concerning the rights of exchange students and other non-degree students to participate in courses, courses (link to courses), admission status, housing, arrival and other logistics, please contact lailap@bgu.ac.il.
