The Molecular Engineering, 2D/3D-Printing and Soft Nanofabrication Laboratory will be part of the BGU
Nanofabrication Center.
The position of technology specialist includes:
1. Operation of state-of-the-art molecular engineering fabrication tools for the
deposition, patterning, printing, and fabrication of soft devices.
2. Work in cleanroom, in collaboration with nanofabrication specialists.
3. Development and implementation of fabrication processes:
a. Planning and coordination of experiments for process development.
b. Analysis of process data and results.
c. Process optimization and improvement.
4. Design integral processes which involve new, advanced, and novel functional materials and
cutting-edge technologies.
5. Mentoring and instructing researchers and students on fabrication techniques such as 3D- printing,
ink-jet printing, thermal deposition, and maskless alignment.
6. Maintenance of lab equipment and purchase of new equipment for the lab.
Position requirements:
1. M. Sc or Ph.D (preferred) with practical experience in molecular engineering and various -printing techniques
such as inkjet, 2d/3d and bio printing, and soft lithography.
2. Capability of developing advanced technological ideas and transforming them into prototypes.
3. Hands-on experience and ability to design experiments, analyze the results and summarize the information
in technical reports and presentations.
4. Experience with molecular engineering and various printing techniques such as inkjet, 2d/3d and bio
printing, and soft lithography.
5. Ability to work in a team and motivation to collaborate whit other researches.
Preferred skills:
1. Experience with process development, solving fabrication issues and process control.
2. Experience in multiple parameter analysis.
