The project aims to develop and characterize novel passive sampling and analytical methods for short and ultrashort-chain PFAS in groundwater (Ronen and Vogel groups). In addition to develop and optimize membrane processes for PFAS rejection and PFAS-free water production, including mixed matrix composite membranes and hybrid closed circuit Reverse Osmosis  (Nir and Panglisch groups). And to develop and characterize PFAS removal by novel coagulation and adsorption processes based on carbon nanomaterials and magnetically separated activated carbon (Panglisch and Ronen groups
