Call for abstracts

Second Conference for Young Researchers* working in areas related to quantum science and technology

Submission is open to M.Sc., Ph.D. and post doc students

The conference will take place on Wednesday, October 30, at Ben Gurion University.

Keynote speakers will open the conference following by Young Researcher talks and posters.

A prize will be awarded for the best talk and the best poster.

* Aim of the conference is to introduce new students to this exciting new field of research, and to enable graduate students to get to know others working in areas related to their own research.

Guidelines for abstract Submission:

» ​Speakers should be graduate students working on subjects related to quantum science and technology.

» One-page abstract

» The abstract should include title, all authors names, full affiliation, email address, and mobile phone number

» Up to 250 words

» Your preference: oral presentation/poster or both

» Topics can include quantum communication, sensing, imaging, simulations, quantum devices, and foundational aspects relevant to quantum science and technology

» Talks should be 15minutes +5 minutes for questions.

» Since relevant departments include physics, electrical engineering, electro optics engineering, chemistry and more, speakers should explain their work in sufficiently general terms so that members of other departments and faculties can understand.​
