תקציר המחקר:​	​
This research focuses on settlement phenomenon of ideological (NGO) groups members in the peripheral cities of Yeruham and Lod. The research describes the goals and motives of the policy makers and groups members, follows the relationship that developed  in said city's between the "locals" and  "immigrants", inspects the contribution  and evaluates the achievements of those groups; Inspecting the relationship between local resident's and groups members the research uses the terms demographic engineering and gentrification. The research propose a new usage of the term gentrification and combing the two terms for a more accurately explaining the motives and the consequences of the groups members settlement it researched case.	​
ביוגרפיה:​	​
יעל שמריהו- ישורון היא דוקטורנטית בפקולטה לניהול במחלקה למנהל ומדיניות ציבורית. בעלת תואר שני בהצטיינות במנהל עסקים –המגמה למנהיגות חברתית באוניברסיטת בן גוריון, תוכנית של קרן מנדל ותואר ראשון בעבודה סוציאלית בהצטיינות מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. עובדת כמנחת קבוצות בארגון "גשר" להדברות בין קבוצות בחברה הישראלית. בעלת תעודת הנחית קבוצות של מכון מגיד האוניברסיטה העברית. בעבר עבדה כעובדת סוציאלית ומנחת קבוצות טיפוליות של אסירים משוקמים בהוסטל של הרשות לשיקום האסיר. עבדה כרכזת סטודנטים בעמותת איילים ופר"ח וניהלה מוקדים קהילתיים בדימונה ובכפר קסר א-סר. כמו כן עבדה כמ"מ פקידת סעד לחוק נוער בלשכת רווחה “לב העיר” בירושלים. ​	​
