The Faculty for Natural Sciences offers post-doctoral fellowships in each of its departments.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field, after having spent no more than 6 in their doctoral program. Candidates who have yet to be awarded their Ph.D. degree must show proof that the degree will be granted within 6 month of applying.

The duration of post-doctoral funding is two years. During this period, the fellow is eligible to receive a cost of living scholarship from his/her advisor, dependent on the advisor's resources. In addition, the fellow can apply for grants, announced to the university community from time to time. The fellow may also be offered a junior instruction position, at the discretion of the department.
