The Ilse Katz Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology pays tribute to the late Mr. Shimon Peres, the ninth President and former Prime Minister of the State of Israel.
Shimon Peres was among the founders of Israel’s hi-tech industry, and was particularly active in promoting nanoscale science and technology, activities which led to the founding of the Israeli National Nanotechnology Initiative.
