The Ben-Gurion Library contains over 100,000 books in the multi-disciplinary fields of Israel Studies. The subject matters include: the Zionist labor movement, history and politics of the Yishuv, Arab-Israeli conflict, Israeli literature, immigration and settlement. The Library also provides a rich collection of articles and journals dated from the 1920s to the present.
As for acquiring new materials, the Library strictly observes the guidelines of the Institute’s Scientific Council. Preserving over 33,000 documents regarding David Ben-Gurion (including articles written by Ben-Gurion himself), the Library has managed to index and computerize thousands of articles and make them available online.
The Ben-Gurion Library aims to assist and facilitate knowledge and research for visiting scholars and students from all over the world.
