The exhibition self exposure presents the works of the artist Hazan Ovad carved from tree trunks collected during his trips near his home in the Lehavim locality in the northern negev.
The abandoned logs take second life under a cantor's hands in the home workshop, layers and textures being exposed and discovered while working. The works are made of a variety of trees, mostly from those found in the space, some from a well-known source such as eucalyptus, method, pine, Indian rosewood, African walnut, oak or buck and others from an unidentified source.
