The Laboratory for Organizations and Fields is engaged in researching schools in their environment, studying improvement processes in educational organizations, and professional development of managers, teachers, and organizational consultants. The laboratory aims to develop research-based models to improve schools and develop professionalism and expertise among education workers.
Dorit Tubin is an associate professor in the School of Education, and the chair of an organizational counseling preparation program, at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
Her main interests are educational organizations, school effectiveness, educational leadership, professionalism and professional development, innovative learning environments, and national culture and schooling.
