Development of algorithms for trading strategies in the capital market (joint program of the Department of Economics, the Department of Computer Science and the Center for Entrepreneurship 360)

The course is intended for third-year students who meet the admission requirements. The aim of the course is to train the students in the field of Algotrade, and create for them a suitable infrastructure for the joint development of innovative tools for analyzing investments in the capital market while combining the knowledge and unique tools acquired in the parent departments. The course will take place throughout the year and will be recognized as an elective course of about 3 credits. Those accepted for the course will be required to enroll in the first semester for an introductory programming course in Python (unless they have already studied the course), and for a guided project (3 credits) that will also be recognized as a departmental seminar.
